It doesn't seem to be a Lotus holdover. At least if it is they had dumped it by Rel 9.5 (which must be coming up for 10 years old by now).

I don't know if it makes me the king of wasted energy, but it is less efficient. Once I'd decided on that topic, I kept telling myself to remember to say F9 and maybe throw in Ctrl+= as an alternative at the end. But I forgot. How the heck did I come up with Ctrl+= anyway, does anyone know? Is it a Lotus holdover?

Shortcut king? I'd call him the king of wasted energy. Ctrl= takes two hands. F9 takes one. But he does remind me of Ted Baxter, so he's not all bad.

I always used F9 too. Dick is the short-cut king. Keyboard Kusleika, that's what I call him :-)

Hey, not bad Dick. I'm terrible at that sort of thing. I can write much better than I can talk. BTW, I didn't know about that Ctrl= keystroke. I've always used F9.
