John: Gee, that is bad. I'll look into this. Have you got a reference or a description how to whitelist my site?

foobar: I know, I've just updated the page to reflect that. Thanks.

Jan, "data tables" in Excel 2007 is the new name for "tables" of Excel 2003. What you wrote about is called "tables" now, same as "lists" in 2003.

I bet J-Walk knows that ;-)

JK, I had the same problem as Dick. I opened the page and thought, "this would be a lot more effective with some screen shots." Then I remembered your URL name and whitelisted the domain.

I don't know of any ready-made link, you'd have to create it yourself. I was thinking that a visitor would show up at your site, see the captions for the figures, but not see the figures themselves. If there was a link under the 'home' and 'up' links that said 'can't see figures' then he would click on that and be led to a page you create that explains why.

At least, you might put up a note encouraging visitors to "whitelist" the site if they are using FF and Adblock. Maybe a link in the sidebar that says "Can't see Figures?" which would lead to a page explaining how to add the site to the Adblock whitelist.

I think it has something to do with Frontpage not rendering the navigation control in a manner that FireFox enjoys much. Not sure if the ads thing has anyting to do with it.

Thanks for letting me know, I might try to change the navigation at the top some day.

Using Firefox 2.0 and the Adblock extension, here's what your site looks like

I was shocked when I saw it, but then I remembered you had mentioned that the 'ads' in the url was causing a problem. Did you decide just to live with it?
