One thing I'm noticing in the current setup is Bullet points change the font style after it ends.
The Formula Formatter post I just made is an example.

Fun, huh? I'm looking at these style sheets that ship with WP and I can't make heads or tails of them. I change something, nothing changes. I change something else, three things change. I've got a lot to learn, I fear.

How about emailing your CSS to me so I have a benchmark?

Been there, done that. Just last week, in fact. Creating a new CSS from scratch is a fun experience. My advice, though, is to do it off-line if possible. I used FrontPage to work on my new style sheet. It saves lots of embarrassment.
